Jesus

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one can come to the Father
except through me”. John 14: 6

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.  Colossians 1: 15, 16a, 18a – 20

The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. Hebrews 1: 3

The Bible teaches that Jesus is:
† God Himself (God the Son)
† The Son of God who became a human, living on earth
† The only perfect sacrifice whom God would accept as the payment due for our sins
† Our King (which is what the words Christ and Messiah mean also)
† Our Lord (the one who we should let lead our life)
† Our Savior (the only way we can get to heaven and be with God
