Hell

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of
fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if
anyone’s name was not found written in the book of
life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20: 14 – 15

As with heaven, the most meaningful fact the Bible provides to us about Hell is that it is real.

It is also important to note Jesus explicitly tells us that Hell is not created for humans. Hell was created for the devil and his followers.
† Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’ Matthew 25: 41

Humans were made to be in fellowship with God and God makes it known to us that He wants us all to choose to be in fellowship with Him
† The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that       all should reach repentance. II Peter 3: 9

In one of His many teachings on earth, Jesus stresses to us how critical it is that we avoid Hell and at the same time gives us a brief description of what Hell will be like
† And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’  Mark 9: 47 – 48

God does not “send people to Hell” but He will allow us to choose that option ourselves
† Anyone who ends up in Hell can only blame themselves.
