Reincarnation

The dead know nothing. They no longer
play a part in anything here on earth.
Ecclesiastes 9: 5b, 6b

But when people die, their strength is gone. They breathe their last … people are laid to rest and do not rise again. Job 14: 10a, 12a

A few religions have a belief in reincarnation, the idea that people are “recycled” back into a different human (or other living thing) back on this earth once they die. Religions which promote this belief include Hinduism, Buddhism and the Mayan religion which predicted the end of our earth on the 21st of December 2012 due to the completion of a universal cycle
 The concept of reincarnation comes from the fact that these religions believe that time, the universe, all living things, etc have always gone through and will always go through continuous cycles.
 But the Bible verses above show that the Bible teaches that is not true.

Both the Bible and modern science say that time, space and all the things in the current universe had a one-time beginning and will have a one-time end.
 Humans are not reincarnated and put back on earth
 Each person lives one life here on earth and then faces God once and for all.
 You don’t get a second chance or ‘do over” on your life

It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment  Hebrews 9: 27
